AdScale was founded in early 2007 by Klaus von Doemming and Stephan Kern, graduates from the WHU School of Management. After an intensive start-up phase, AdScale was launched officially in September 2007 thereby being the first real-time market place for online advertising in Germany.
In 2007, the European Founders Fund with Holtzbrinck Ventures as well as the private investors Oliver Jung and Lukasz Gandowski participated in AdScale.
