Holtzbrinck Ventures participated in Mobileview AG from 2001 - October 2006. Co-investors were Credit Suisse Deutschland AG as well as Techinvest Fond, managed by the Avida Group.
The Mobileview AG specialises in technologies and solutions in the mobile information sector. Merlix, developed by Mobileview, is the leading software for the development and operation of applications for mobile equipment (WAP phones, PDAs, SMS messaging etc.). Their robust and scaleable solutions allow their customers to develop mobile applications simply, quickly and cost effectively and to run them with minimal effort and maintenance.
Since the company’s founding in February 2000, they have successfully developed mobile solutions for customers such as T-Online, Credit Suisse, Lufthansa, Sixt and Blaupunkt.
On 1st October, 2006, mobileview AG was bought by D+S europe AG. Dipl.-Ing. Achim Plate, Chairman of the Board of D+S europe AG says, "The implementation of mobileview's infrasturctures is of strategical significance. We generate added value for our customers and additional revenue potential to D+S europe AG."
